Bulldogs thank Freemasons for continued support.
Freemasons on the Central Coast (FotCC) have long supported the Central Coast Bulldogs Masters Team (CC Bulldogs) which is part of a Sydney-wide competition with players ranging in age from their mid-thirties to their oldest active player who is a ripe old 81 years!
On Saturday 15 April 2023, the CC Bulldogs hosted a ’sponsors day’ to recognise those sponsors who have made a contribution to and supported them both in the past and into the future.
Club President, Paul Pafumi, said that the club was very grateful for the support from their many sponsors, and in recognition of that ongoing sponsorship, FotCC Board Members were presented with Central Coast Bulldogs polo shirts.
Past president of FotCC, Geoff Bown, said FotCC are very proud to be associated with the CC Bulldogs as they are such a great community focused team, always the first to put their hands up to lend a hand with fundraising activities; always prepared to contribute more to the community than they’ve received. As part of this response, FotCC presented a cheque for $4,928.
Other sponsors spoke very highly of the Bulldogs and their contribution to the community both in terms of providing an outlet for members as well as supporting local charities such as the Central Coast Kids in Need (CCKIN).
Like FotCC, the CC Bulldogs are strong supporters of CCKIN and, following well-supported raffles conducted on the day, they presented another cheque to Lorraine Churchill and Rhonda Doyle representing the charity.
On Thursday 6 April, the Freemasons on the Central Coast invited members of the CC Bulldogs to come along to the Ourimbah RSL for an informal meeting to discuss ongoing support and to hear about all their recent fundraising activities.

Match Report
On Saturday 3 June 2023, the CC Bulldogs participated in a gala carnival at the Darren Kennedy Oval at Toukley. Masters Teams from all over the greater Sydney Metropolitan area participated. The CC Bulldogs faced a team from the Lower Blue Mountains with their kickoff at 3pm. The CC Bulldogs went to score a number of tries as well as making some spectacular try saving tackles against their opponents. At the end of the day, the winners were all of the teams and their players who all enjoy a great sense of camaraderie. Once again, congratulations to the CC Bulldogs on their outstanding community support.
